Description and Uses
m-PEG36-alcohol is a PEG linker containing a hydroxyl group. The hydroxyl group enables further derivatization or replacement with other reactive functional groups. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
Methoxypolyethylene glycol 350 has been used in a study to assess the synthesis of a new class of thermosensitive micellar cyclotriphosphazenes. It has also been used in a study to investigate synthesis of a new amphiphilic poly(organophosphazene) by stepwise nucleophilic substitution.
