Description and Uses
Disperse Violet 26 is suitable for coloring and dyeing polyester and its blends, various fabrics, plastics, and polyester fibers. High-temperature, high-pressure dyeing of polyester can produce light to medium shades. It can be used in a co-bath heat-fusion padding process with vat dyes to dye mixed-color polyester-cotton fabrics. When sized with Reactive Violet K-3R, it can be used for direct printing on polyester-cotton fabrics. For bleached polyester-cotton fabrics, padding with Disperse Violet H-FRL and fluorescent whitening agent DT in a co-bath can improve whiteness. It can also be used to dye triacetate fibers, but is not suitable for dyeing diacetate fibers, nylon, and acrylic fibers.
