Description and Uses
9-[2-Carboxy-5(or 6)-isothiocyanatophenyl]-3,6-bis(diethylamino)xanthylium, chloride is used in biomedical research as a fluorescent probe for detecting proteins and nucleic acids. It can also be employed in drug screening assays, imaging techniques, and studying cellular processes in cancer and neurological diseases.
