Description and Uses

Dimethylphenylvinylsilane was used as a reagent in the synthesis of silylmethylcyclopropanes which are used in an efficient synthetic route for cis or trans tetrahydrofurans. Also used as a reagent in the synthesis of silylgermylnethynes which are potential organometallic reagents and precursors of optoelectronic materials.
