Description and Uses
FLAVIANIC ACID is used as an intermediate in organic synthesis, a precipitant for organic bases, and a reagent for amino acids. This product can react with more than 50 metal ions, but in acidic solutions it only precipitates with zirconium and lead, making it highly selective and sensitive for the determination of zirconium.
