Description and Uses

Naphthol AS-OL is mainly used as a base agent for dyeing cotton and viscose fibers and printing cotton fabrics. Its properties are similar to Naphthol AS, and it can be blended to improve colorfastness. Combined with different color bases, it can produce a variety of colors such as orange, red, maroon, and blue. It is also used for dyeing vinylon, viscose, silk, nylon, and diacetate fibers, and for producing insoluble dyes, as well as fast pigments, fast amines, fast sulfonates, and lake pigments. It can also serve as an intermediate for organic pigments.
