Description and Uses
Pimeloyl chloride has been used in preparation of:
- bis-acylureas, by the coupling reaction with ureas
- triacetyl-15-pimelate-nivalenol, required for production of antibody against nivalenol tetraacetate
- macrocyclic tetralactones, via condensation with stannoxane
