Description and Uses
1,4-Bis(4-cyanostyryl)benzene is used for whitening and brightening polyester fibers, as well as for printing and dyeing polyester fabrics, polyester-cotton blended fabrics and yarns. It is also used for whitening acetate fibers and nylon. The treated fabrics have high whiteness and pure color. It also has a good whitening effect on polyethylene, polypropylene and other plastics and products.
