Description and Uses
Naphtanilide EL is suitable for dyeing fibers such as cotton, viscose, and nylon, but is generally not used for printing. It has a high affinity for cotton. It is a base agent for dyeing red, and can be coupled with maroon base GP and scarlet base GGS to obtain red, and coupled with maroon base GBC to obtain maroon. It is also used as an intermediate for organic pigments and as a dye for ice dyeing.
