Description and Uses
5-Fluoro-4-hydroxypyrimidine is a precursor in the synthesis of the antifungal Voriconazole (V760000). Also used as a reagent in the synthesis of 4-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-5-carboxylates as antiviral agents, activators, and fungicides for treatment and prevention of plant diseases such as tobacco mosaic virus.
