Description and Uses
4-Bromo-3,5-difluoroanisole is used to prepare difluorophenacyl analogs as inhibitors of cyclin-dependent kinases. It is also used to synthesize aminopyridine N-oxides for selective inhibition of p38 MAP kinase.
