Description and Uses
(1S,3S,5S)-2-Boc-2-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane-3-carboxylic Acid is an impurity of Saxagliptin (S143500), which is a potent and selective reversible inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase-4, which is being developed for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is absorbed rapidly after oral administration and has a pharmacokinetic profile compatible with once daily dosing.
