Description and Uses

N-(4-Ethoxyphenyl)-3-hydroxy-2-naphthamide is mainly used as a base agent for dyeing and printing cotton fibers. It is often blended with Naphthol AS for dyeing and base application of cotton fabrics. It has moderate affinity and coupling ability for cotton and its performance is similar to that of Naphthol AS-RL. It is also used for dyeing viscose fibers and printing cotton fabrics.
