Description and Uses
Zinc Diethylphosphinate(ZDP) is a halogen-free flame retardant for thermoplastics and synthetic fibres, exhibiting significant flame-retardant properties, particularly for polyesters. It is suitable for halogen-free flame-retardant modification of polyester fibres and polyester film systems. It is particularly suitable for halogen-free flame retardant modification in PET fibre fabrics and PET film systems. It exhibits excellent compatibility with the base resin. In PET, achieving UL94 V-0 rating is attainable with minimal quantities of ZDP flame retardant.
