Description and Uses
1-Octanoyl-rac-glycerol is a monoacylglyecrol with antibacterial activity. 1-Octanoyl-rac-glycerol showed inhibition of oleic acid uptake by rat intestinal epithelial IEC-6 cells in vitro.
