Description and Uses

Vat Khaki 2G (Vat Green 8) is used for dyeing cotton and silk fibers. It has good leveling properties and affinity, and is a major dye for grass green. It is also used for dyeing viscose-cotton and polyester/cotton blended fabrics. It is often blended with Vat Brown GG, BR, and Sulfur Vat Black CLN to dye various shades of brown yarns, with Vat Olive Green B to dye various shades of olive green yarns, and with Vat Olive Green B or Vat Brilliant Green FFB to dye grass green fabrics. Fabrics dyed with this product become slightly lighter in color after treatment with urea-formaldehyde or cyanoform resin. It is an important dye variety for dyeing military uniform fabrics.
