Description and Uses
Acid Black 107 is primarily used for dyeing wool, silk, and tussah silk in weakly acidic or neutral dye baths; dyeing nylon, vinylon, and blended fabrics such as vinylon/cotton and wool/viscose in neutral dye baths; and direct printing on wool, silk, and nylon fabrics. When used for dyeing wool with other fibers in the same bath, nylon will be slightly darker, silk slightly lighter, and cellulose acetate and viscose fibers will show slight staining. It can also be used for leather dyeing.
