Description and Uses
Vat Black 29 is mainly used for dyeing cotton fibers and printing cotton fabrics. It has excellent leveling properties and moderate affinity. It is also suitable for dyeing silk, viscose fibers, and viscose-cotton blends. Its leveling properties are slightly poor when dyeing vinylon and vinylon-cotton blends. It can also be used for hot-melt dyeing of polyester-cotton fabrics. It is often blended with Vat Blue (BCS), Vat Yellow (GCN), Vat Brown (G), Vat Brown (GG), and Vat Brown (BR) to dye various shades of grey.
