Description and Uses
ATPA is an agonist of ionotropic glutamate receptor 5 (GluR5/GluK1; Ki = 0.0043 µM).1 It is selective for GluR5 over GluR1-4 (Kis = 6-14 µM), as well as GluR6 (Ki = >1,000 µM). ATPA induces inward currents in HEK293 cells expressing recombinant human GluR5 and isolated rat dorsal root ganglion (DRG) neurons (EC50s = 2.1 and 0.6 µM, respectively).WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
