Cefminox sodium is a cephamycin antibiotic active against a broad spectrum of microorganisms excluding Pseuubmonas. Its overall activity profile appears similar to that of cefotetan and cefbuperazone, and slightly/markedly superior to that of cefoxitidcefmetazole, respectively.
