Description and Uses
Lithium carbonate is used to study the spectroscopic behavior and the coordination number of Li in compounds of unknown structure. It is also reported that 6Li2CO3 is used to coat Al2O3:C material to create a material sensitive to neutrons, beta and photon radiation.
