Description and Uses
Finds application in Third-Generation Antifoulants for Marine Coatings. Copper acrylate is used as the cross-linking agent in the polymer. Upon reaction with the sodium ion in seawater, the polymer hydrolyzes and the copper acrylate is converted to copper carbonate.
