Description and Uses

4-Benzoylbiphenyl (4-Phenylbenzophenone; HRcure-PBZ ) is a reagent used to synthesize multicolored mechanochromic luminogen molecules. HRcure-PBZ is a low odor photoinitiator, which is a molecule that absorbs photons upon irradiation with light and forms reactive species out of the excited state, which initiates consecutive reactions.
