Description and Uses
6-Carboxyfluorescein diacetate is a membrane-permeant prodrug of 6-Carboxyfluorescein, which has been used to differentiate viable cells from apoptotic cells.
6-Carboxyfluorescein Diacetate is a fluorescent polyanionic probe used to detect changes intracellular pH. In addition, 6-Carboxyfluorescein Diacetate derivatives can be used as staining agents for flow cytometry to visualize cells undergoing apoptosis or necrosis.
