Description and Uses
5-Bromo-6-chloro-3-indoxyl Phosphate, Disodium Salt is employed to visualize phosphatase activity. The end product is insoluble and magenta colored when used with Nitroblue Tetrazolium. It can be used in analytical reagent use of medium for growth and detection of vancomycin-resistant enterococci and comprising Krebs cycle intermediate.
