Description and Uses

Dimethylthiocarbamide, an antioxygen agent, is responsible for sensitization, when unexposed to light, from diazo papers.

N,N'-Dimethylthiourea is an antioxidant present in diazo copy paper to prevent yellow discoloration of the paper.
