Description and Uses
3,5-Lutidine N-Oxide is used as a reagent in the synthesis of 3,5-Dimethyl-4-nitropyridine 1-Oxide (D473635); an intermediate used to prepare 2-[(2-pyridylmethyl)thio or -sulfinyl]benzimidazoles as antiulcer agents.
