Description and Uses
1-Bromo-2-(bromomethyl)-4,5-dimethoxybenzene is used in the synthesis of novel histone deacetylase 1 inhibitors (HDAC 1). Also used in the synthesis of antibacterial gemifloxacin derivatives.
