Description and Uses
Perfluorodecyl iodide is used to prepare 3,5-bis(perfluorodecyl)phenylboronic acid, "green" catalyst for the direct amide condensation reaction. It is also used to synthesize 3-(perfluorodecyl)prop-1-ene.
