Description and Uses
Mefenpyr-diethyl is a foliar-acting safener of the pyrazoline chemical group, and after its absorption, the metabolization and detoxification of herbicides occur in treated plants. It is often used with fenoxaprop-P-ethyl and iodosulfuron for selective weed control in cereals. However, it does not have herbicidal activity.
Mefenpyr-diethyl is used in herbicidal and herbicide-safener combinations as a resistant breaking solution for modern agriculture.
