Description and Uses

Fluoxastrobin is a foliar applied, translaminar, systemic fungicide with preventative activity used for disease control on a wide range of vegetables. It has a low aqueous solubility and a low volatility. It can be moderately persistent in soil systems and stable in water-sediment systems. No significant risks to human health have been identified. Toxicity to most biodiversity species tends to be low to moderate.
