Description and Uses
Methyl 5-Methoxy-1H-indole-2-carboxylate is used in preparation of Sulfenylindoles via Iodine/Manganese catalyzed Dehydrogenative oxidative coupling reaction of Indoles with Thiols in anisole.Also, used in preparation of Indolyl Thioether with Bunte salts.
