It is also used in the preparation of imidazo[1,2-a]pyrazin-8-amines as Brk/PTK6 inhibitors and in the preparation of pyrrolopyrimidinyl-, pyrrolopyrazinyl- and pyrrolopyridinylacrylamides as JAK inhibitors.
