Description and Uses
2,4-Dibromo-2,4-dimethyl-3-pentanone may be used in the synthesis of 2-dimethylamino-4-methylene-1,3-dioxolanes, via debromination using zinc-copper couple in dimethylformamide and dimethylacetamide.
