Description and Uses
Food Yellow 3:1 is used as edible yellow pigment. Used in oily foods, powdered foods (cake premix, powdered fruit juice), sugar coatings, and tablet coatings, used alone or in combination with other edible pigments, such as aluminum lakes. Also used in printing inks or colorants for paper and plastic food containers, cookware, etc.
