Vat Gray M (Vat Black 8) is mainly used for dyeing cotton fibers and their fabrics, as well as printing on cotton cloth. It has good affinity but moderate leveling properties. It is also used for dyeing silk, viscose fiber, and cotton-vinyl blended fabrics. Dyeing methods include pad dyeing and dip dyeing. Its fine powder specifications are suitable for suspension pad dyeing. After finishing with cyanaldehyde or BHES resin, the color of the printed and dyed fabric remains basically unchanged. After finishing with trimethylolpropane melamine or DMEU resin, the color is bluer than the original sample. After finishing with 2D resin, the color becomes slightly redder.
