                                            Hexyl chloroformate has been used as derivatization reagent in:
- determination of sarcosine and N-ethylglycine in urine and urinary sediments by solid-phase micro extraction and fast GC-MS analysis
 - determination of benzoylecgonine in urine by GC-quadrupole ion trap mass spectrometry
