Description and Uses
4-(4-Oxobutyl)benzoic Acid Methyl Ester is used as a reagent in the preparation of Pemetrexed (P219500) and furoxanoxyalkyl esters of Pemetrexed as antifolates and nitric oxide donors for use as anticancer agents.
