Triethylmethylammonium hydroxide solution can be used:

• To adjust the pH of the reaction mixture in the synthesis of H₂VOPO₄, which in turn is used to synthesize a vanadium phosphate named ε-VOPO₄.
• To prepare ionic liquids with amino acid anions, exhibiting bipolar solvent properties.
